Senior Spotlight: Peter | Lyman Hall High School, Class of 2025

Where do I even begin with Peter? Not only is he my neighbor, but he’s also like family. I’ve known him since he was a newborn, and it’s been such a joy to watch him grow into the incredible young man he is today. There are so many stories and fun memories I could share—especially from all the adventures he and my boys have been a part of together—but I’ll keep this post from getting too long.

Peter is truly one of the kindest, most soft-spoken people you’ll meet. He’s athletic, hardworking, and has an undeniable passion for soccer. In fact, soccer has been his first love ever since he could walk. He’s been kicking around a ball from a young age and started playing on teams when he was just four. After years on town teams, Peter transitioned to club soccer at seven, and since then, his soccer journey has taken him across the United States and even to Canada for some amazing tournaments.

When you think of Peter, you think soccer. If he’s not playing, he’s watching, cheering on his favorite teams—USA and Chelsea. His love for the game runs deep, and he’s looking to continue playing soccer as he heads off to college. Peter is currently exploring a few schools, with a strong interest in pursuing a degree in Business or Sports Management. While he hasn’t found “the one” just yet, I have no doubt that he’ll find the perfect fit.

Peter, it’s been so much fun watching you grow over the years. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors. I know you’re going to excel, no matter where life takes you. Have an amazing senior year—you’ve earned it!
