Sydney, Class of 2026, brought so much energy and personality to her senior portraits! From her love of theatre and creative writing to her volunteer work and fun, outgoing personality, this session captured all the things that make her unique. Plus, it was an extra special experience reconnecting with her mom, who graduated from Lyman Hall High School with me years ago.

When Sydney’s mom, Moira, first reached out to me about booking her daughter’s senior portrait session, neither of us realized it would turn into a mini reunion! As we chatted, we quickly discovered that Moira and I had actually graduated together from Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford, CT. How special is that? It made this session even more meaningful, knowing Sydney is now graduating from the same high school her mom and dad once attended.

From the moment I met Sydney, I knew her senior session was going to be so much fun. She’s outgoing, confident, and so easy to talk to — and she absolutely shines in front of the camera. We captured a mix of her fun personality and her edgier, creative side perfectly.

Sydney is a talented young woman with a passion for creative writing and plans to pursue that in college. She also loves theatre, both performing and watching, and she gives back to her community through her volunteer work with Army Legacy Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. At home, she’s kept company by her two furry besties, Harper and Lucy.

She’s involved in so many things at Lyman Hall, including the AST Club, GSA, SADD, and Unified Theatre. And when she’s not performing, writing, or volunteering, you’ll probably find her in the kitchen baking her favorite cookies — she’s got a real knack for it!
