Senior Spotlight: Eden | Sheehan High School & ECA | Future Architect

When Eden first reached out to me, she mentioned that she loved fall, nature, and drawing — and I immediately knew Chatfield Hollow would be the perfect location for her senior photos. After meeting her, that first thought couldn’t have been more right!

Eden is a senior at Sheehan High School, where she spends her mornings, and then heads to ECA, a magnet art school, in the afternoons. She’s a talented artist and dreams of becoming an architect one day — which made our session location even more fitting!

She’s also a member of the National Honor Society and the Dungeons & Dragons Club, and she lives with her parents, her little brother, and their two dogs. She’s cheerful, creative, and full of positive energy. Eden loves music and any kind of live event, and when she’s not studying or sketching, you can find her drawing, painting, making jewelry, or just creating something beautiful.

We had the best time exploring Chatfield Hollow together. I was beyond excited to see that the red bridge — which had been closed for quite a while — was finally rebuilt and open for photos! (I may have been a little too excited when I realized it, but how perfect was that? A brand-new architectural structure for a future architect!)

The light, the bridge, and of course, Eden — everything came together perfectly. She absolutely popped against the fall colors.
After a few shots near the bridge, we wandered down to the water. Eden didn’t hesitate for a second to get her feet a little wet to sit on the rocks in the middle of the river (yes, the water was freezing — and I was practically in up to my knees — but totally worth it!). The light was dreamy, the foliage was showing off for us, and Eden looked amazing.

For her second outfit, she chose a beautiful floral top that matched the fall tones perfectly. She even brought her sketch pad and started to draw a bit — such a perfect reflection of who she is.

We wrapped up our session at what I like to call the “Snow White house,” and as you’ll see in the photos, it was the perfect ending to a beautiful afternoon.

Eden, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your senior photos and tell your story. I had so much fun spending the day with you, and I know you’re going to do incredible things.
Eden has applied to Mass College of Art and Design (her top choice!), Alfred State in New York, and UMass Amherst — and I have no doubt that wherever she goes, she’ll design and build something amazing.

Wishing you all the best in your senior year, Eden!
