My newborn photography sessions are designed to capture the pure essence of your new little love and family. I believe in simplicity and transparency, which is why my newborn sessions include all-inclusive portrait packages—combining the session fee and digital images into one straightforward collection price. I offer 3 newborn collections, the Petite, Classic and Signature collection. Michaela & Mike, selected the Signature Collection, which included multiple props and set ups, additional outfits and the full edited gallery.

There are some sessions that just hit differently, and this was one of them. The other day, I had the absolute honor of photographing the newborn session of sweet Leonardo Christopher – the beautiful baby boy of my bestie’s son, Michael, and his amazing wife, Micaela.

It truly doesn’t seem possible that Michael is now a father. Wasn’t it just yesterday that I was at the hospital, so excited to meet him as a newborn? He was the first baby of our friend group, and yes, we all spoiled him! How is it possible that the little boy I babysat, watched grow up, and cheered on through every milestone is now married and holding his own son in his arms? Time really does fly.

Mike and Micaela are such a wonderful couple, and seeing them step into this new role as parents is nothing short of heartwarming. Little Leo is so loved already. And let me tell you—he was an absolute rockstar at his newborn session! We got through so many setups, outfits, and adorable props, and he even flashed me the biggest smile. (I think he already likes his “Auntie.” )

That being said, he didn’t start the session that way… As you’ll see, he was not having it during the baseball setup. Maybe, just maybe, he’s taking after his mama and is a Yankees fan, and he wasn’t too happy with the Red Sox colors his dad picked.

Over the years, I’ve always said, “Mike is a good boy.” Well, now I can say with full certainty—Mike is a good father. (and Micaela is an amazing mother) And I couldn’t be more excited to watch him and Micaela in this beautiful new chapter of their lives as parents.

Congratulations again, Mike and Micaela! And welcome to the world, sweet Leo. You are so loved. I look forward to watching you growing up over the years!
